Got my Dad's anvil...a Peter something.

:D Put it on the scale, 155lbs. A very large chip on the table. I will do a little cleaning to get a better idea of condition. Here are a few pictures.

Pat, I was wondering why you removed your post on the other thread. :D Good looking anvil! That chunk out of the side probably won't hurt anything. You just use a different spot. Polish up the face a bit and it'll look like new.

A couple of things:

Tu as de la chance, vous is more formal, for someone you don't know well or is older.

L'enclume est grosse et solide. Grand means tall and robuste is for a person more than an object.

Ton père a bon gout. Same as the first point.

All in all, very good. Keep up the good work.
