sorry no pics taken to post yet.

interesting knife. well built, high quality. nice thick liner lock with solid lock up. strange grip setup, i find it awkward to use in my left hand. can be done just awkward feeling. might adapt to it. spyderhole is quite small and sits a bit low in the scales compared to other models. a bit tiny and offset for good solid opening. scales are completely smooth finish. very pretty but slippery i'd imagine when wet handed. tonight i'll take a couple pics and update this post and add more later.

pics added....

^of course i would do that. beautiful knife just not sure i want to carry and use it yet. rolf has spoken....pay heed folks.:)

Please ignore, is best!
I used to carry a knife primarily for SD but I came to realize that I hope I never need to use a knife in that capacity and my tastes in knives changed. I went from a CQC7 to a more practical EDC folder. But, I still admire all kinds of knives.

No, sir, stuff!! :D

Gotta say, I'm definitely intrigued by this knife. How good is the cutting performance in your initial testing?

for a dagger design its good enough, but daggers usually arent great slicers compared to other blade shapes. its a thicker blade other than the fullers designs on both sides so not a great user for general tasks, imo. works though.

Closed, it’s heavy and got a bit of size to it. Blade open it is still a little handle heavy, balance point at thumb and index finger sit. Becomes very light and nimble in hand.

Someone another forum asked for size comparison photo.

There is no logical reason for it but I want one.
Ever since I first saw it announced.
It is too big and illegal to carry, will scare the sheeple and th blade shape is not particularly suited for my edc needs, but I still want one.

That is a seriously ambitious design from Spyderco. Looks well executed. I hope people buy it.

Pretty much sums it up for me.
