Got my first CRK today

Just wanted to show off my new Umnumzaan. Picked it up today at a local firearms store. Its my forst CRK and i love it, its badass.

im expecting my first CRK around tuesday. i clicked order on a large sebenza 21 last night. my hands shook and i laughed because i was so excted/overwhelmed that i had ordered one of my dream knives and a knife that is so famous. only a knife nut would understand hahahaha

Congrats on your purchase, is it my imagination or is the lock bar a new design. It looks like there's more of a lip there for easier engagement.
 
Thanks guys. It could be the angle of the knife making the lockbar look like that. It leaning against the box a little bit, no sitting straight up. And i played with the lighting a bit too.
 
Just got my first Zaan last week as well :thumbup: the more you use it the more you'll love it
 
Congratulations I am waiting on my first one it's a small 21 carbon fiber. I feel like even though this will be my most expensive knife so far I believe it to be a great value
 
Here she is I hope it will be here by Wed then no letter ,newspaper or rope will be safe...

The downside is that my Manax2 M4 will be gone it was a user and you want to talk about holding an edge while being pretty easy to sharpen.
 
Congrats on your new Zaan, you are going to love it, what a great knife. One is enough, not sure why I have two.

Its leaning against the box like he said. congrats on the knife, that will be my next after the small insingo.
 
The Umnum looks like it's a great folder. I'm constantly tempted by it! That would be cool if CRK came out with a small version of the Umnumzaan... I'd sign up for a small one for sure.

Good eyes...dino...here is my Umnum...at nearly an identical angle. Wow! What a difference!

With me, it's a two-hand closer, but I've somewhat adjusted mentally to accept it. :)

I'm glad that, by appearances, CRK has made this change. It looks as though the new Umnum has much of the wide bevel removed on the sideplate. You can see a quite wide bevel on my knife. Maybe I'm wrong...But I'd bet $5.

Perhaps I'll consider sending mine back for a "retrofit."

I just got my first CRK about 2 weeks ago, large sebenza 21 with cocobolo inlays and its simply amazing I love it.
