Got my first piece of INFI today!

Nice pic! I did my best to resist, but I broke down and ordered one to. To Hell with my wallet! Ordered what must be one of the last, olive drab with mag black handles!

Nice dude. I suppose you're gonna get more due to the extremely addictive nature of the beast.

Subscribed to that motto long ago. No food, no clothes, no car, no gas, but I've got INFI! :D And isn't that all we need? ;)

SNAP!

My first piece of INFI arrived just last Thursday Tan on Tan.

How long did take to arrive i just ordered one on Tuesday....
Mine (tan/tan HR) arrived in 3 days, Idaho to Seattle, standard shipping. My first piece of INFI too.

I ordered standard scales, but will probably order magnum on subsequent knives. My hands are pretty much medium-sized - handspan 9 1/4 inches. I went out and chopped down a fence post and then made a sandwich with the knife -- should probably have done that in reverse order -- and was very impressed with the knife. More on my own thoughts on the design later (for what they're worth, whether you-all want em or not:) ), from me, a guy who has used lots of knives, but never a Busse. Never before thought that I would want to have a $300 knife for every day use.

Gunsite:
The sheath is a SpecOps Combat Master.
Unfortunately the local SpecOps reatiler only had black and I just couldn't wait...
Besides I was going camping next day and needed a sheath.

Pietrzapk:
The knife came from the company store (great folks to deal with) arrived in about 7 days, but I am in Australia, so that is pretty good time.

I mirror all your thoughts -even your fence post sandwich sequence though!

With reqards the scales, I have smallhands (7.25" from wrist to middle finger tip)and because Iof that I also ordered stnadard scales.
But I too reckon Magnum scales might be the way to go evcne for small handed guys like me.

Also like you, I love the design and suspect it to be more general purpose design than many of the other larger Busse designs - but still capable of chopping.

This is also my first piece of INFI and I am loving that steel.

$275USD is not a low price for a user, but I have been using mid range knives (Cold Steel, Aitor etc) for 20 years or so, and don't think I've had one that performs as well as the INFI.
I made a real firm decision that this would be a user and went out and sued it as soon as possible to stop myself from hoarding it.

I see more INFI in my future. And I might even "slum it" with a RAT or two one day.
:-)
