Got a Spyderco Dragonfly (plain edge) today. I am amazed by how smooth the action is and the sharpness. It's scary sharp right out of the box! Incredible knife for $30! Nice work spyderco
well, now that you have your first, do you want to bet me that it won't be your last? probably not. congradulations on your acquisition and get used to the quality, spyderco rarely disappoints.
Now that you know that Spydercos aren't a bunch of hype, you gotta spend a little more and go for a Wegner or Military- you won't be disappointed with either.

I caught the bug a few months ago... what's great is the difference in each knife, even if the design seems similar. Case is point: Delica 98 vs Delica II SS. "Same" model, way different though. Best user for all chores, from yard to kitchen -- Fobbed Delica (I'll leave the exact 'model' for you to choose
Dragonfly is one nice baby. Mine is of CF. I'm thinking of buying SS Dragonfly as well. Dragonfly needs calypso and calypso jr to go with.
If you like the shape of DF you should look for calypso jr ltwt. I think that it is the knife that offers best value for money. Calypsos and DFs are addictive. I bougt C jr ltwt when it came out last autumn and now I have CF DF plain, C jr ltwt plain,C plain and C jr micarta in way.
Watch your wallet as Sal is going to empty it. (but he does it so gently)
(I have now CF DF in clock pocket of my jeans C jr ltwt in my left front pocket and C in right front pocket)
My #1 wish to spyderco is that they made micarta DragonFly (tip down)
Make it make it .... I buy four
