Went to a small knife show they had in Eugene today. Its nothing like the big one in April, but there was some decent stuff. Happened upon a guy that had a stainless Delica PE, Seki City. New in the box, got it for 25.00. Couldn't pass it up. Got it home and have been playing with it and it is a nice knife for the price. Locks up solid and feels comfortable in hand also. Very smooth too.
I can see this will only be the start with the Spyderco knives. Now its time to figure out which one will be next.....

heheh, like it eh? see ya on the spyderco.com forums soon. you're hooked and done for now my friend ;)

Just to show how smart I am, I didn't know Spyderco had a forum.
I know where I'll be going later.....

welcome to spyderco ownership , i started with one , now i have around 23 (stopped counting my knives ages ago) its a terrible , expensive addiction :)

I started the insanity five weeks ago with a Caly 3. I've since added a C95 Manix, Kopa, Byrd Robin, Atlantic Salt, Kiwi, Byrd Cara Cara, Captain and Sharpmaker. Say goodbye to your paycheck and enjoy!

Augustus88, You're missing the British Racing Green Delica with ZDP-189, unless you are waiting for the Endura version in January :D

I like British Racing Green but I really don't like the look of the Delica. The first Spyderco I handled years ago was a SE Delica. That knife is the reason why I ignored Spyderco all these years. The only thing I don't like about my Atlantic Salt is the look of the FRN handle without liners. I'm a big fan of heavy, PE knives with liners and G-10 or Micarta. Notice I don't own many models without liners. I may eventually get the Endura in racing green (not likely) but I can honestly say That I'll never own a Delica. Oh well........That's why we love Spyderco............they make something for everyone.:D

I know exactly what you are saying, and I was the same way. The Delica 4 has steel liners under the FRN. I just couldn't pass up the chance to try out the ZDP-189. I love Sal's philosophy on putting the ZDP-189 on the cheaper knives, so that everyone can experience the steel. I also love the fact that almost every knife now has at least VG-10. Even the new Ladybug :)

Sorry to hijack your thread 338375. Welcome to the world of Spydercos!
