Got my HD-7 today.

Not Lycosa's but I found this pic of a Zero-grind HD-7 that has also been changed to resemble a 7A. Can't truly convert it to a 7A as that would require too much metal be removed to achieve a V-grind.

Halfneck---"Thanks" for that pic. AWESUM!!! That's how they should look. HKuser, take a look. Now, picture your HD-7!

Thanks Halfneck. I like the Tanto look so I'll stick with that. Tom emailed me back with a few pics. I am thinking a new grind is not for me. Tom did however show me a pic of a CQC-15 black blade PE that has his CG and it looks so awesome. Tom also recommended not getting a regrind if the knife will be for display purposes.

I see the Ti on the HD-7 is black. Can you get Ti anodized in any color?

It's not black, that's the Bead Blast version. Granted it is even darker than my Bead Blasted HD-7.

I actually took 220 grit sandpaper to my bead blasted HD-7 to smooth it up. It was dragging on my pocket when I would pull it out. Also rounded off some sharp spots. Not as pretty as it was, but it feels better in hand.

Yes Titanium can be anodized different colors. Not sure what the colors are or the process to go about getting it done is though. I'd like to have the Titanium done like the Titanium on Strider's SMF/SnGs, I think it would look very good.

What a good price On a New HD-7 Heavy Duty Seven Titanium. The knife is BNIB never used or sharpned perfect shape but has a 2006 date on Blade.

Can you help me out with a fair price what's the high end and the best deal.

Average retail price from most places seems to be around $279. A bit of a price jump from their liner locks. Regardless, that's a good price for a framelock.

im seeing a couple of HD7s on the-bay, there is a few in the usual shops as well.

What a fair price for a new HD-7.I have 9 Emersons all together and I was going to get a couple of the new ones or the HD-7.
