Got my Lochsa today!!

Thanks for all the great compliments. The lochsa is a solid yet refined folder. The titanium integral handles is amazing.

Locust the far left folder is indeed a Surefire Delta folder. It has a s30v blade with a titanium frame with wrench cutouts (very atwoodish) and other nifty features such as seatbelt cutter, window punch, flat screwdriver among other things.

The blade from far left are:
Surefire Delta Folder EW04
Emerson CQC 7Bw
Dwayne Dwyer Custom SNG, modified recurve bowie blade made out of CPM3V and carbon fiber concealed carry handle
LE Snakewood Sebenza
and last but not least a Mick Strider custom SMF with Nightmare Grind blade and carved G10 handle.

Congrats! That's my "grail" folder. Last time I checked, Scott wasn't taking orders.

As of today the site says only for Owyhee Hunters, unfortunately, but that announcement was dated 5/29/08 too . . .

Congrats on joining a very exclusive club. I got my Lochsa directly from Scott several weeks ago and although I had entertained ideas of flipping it on the 'Bay, it is now my primary EDC knife. The elegant curves of the handle, the perfection of the grinds on the blade, and the solidity of the construction and lock place it above the rest of my collection.

BTW, how do you like the SureFire Delta? Does the rotational blade play stay the same no matter what the torque on the pivot like the Sebenza?

Congrats on getting your Lochsa and a very rare Leftie too!

Bar none, they are my favorite folder and make a very nice EDC.

Just guessing but could it be that he machines the lockbar in the bent form (meaning he straightens it to put in the blade) cause other than this I'm at a loss to how he does it...

Anyone have any idea, been annoying me recently...

Enkidu..... I haven't adjusted the pivot on the surefire delta at all. It was a little tight when I got it but I knew after I broke her in she would loosen up, now she is good to go.

I like the Delta.... but I dont "love" it. I prefer a choil if possible. It is an extremely well built knife. The pivot pin is huge, no blade play and its perfectly centered. I also like the fact that the wire clip places the blade deep in the pocket making it a perfect choice for a plain cloth detail when I want a full size rescue blade with excellent concealibility.

Although it may resemble a Sebenza, note the Lochsa's lack of screws in the frame...it is made from one solid piece of Titanium. No easy feat....

How does it work without a screw? That seems pretty amazing engineering.

Doesn't the pivot require a screw?

Congrats on that sweet knife ! I've got a bunch of Scott's knives and you can't go wrong with those, his work is stuning.
