I can't believe how quickly it shipped! I received my new RAT RC-5 today. What an awesome knife. The fit and finish are incredible. I can't wait to take it to out for some serious use.

Nice! I can't wait until mine comes in. These new Rowen made RATS are sure good looking knives. :thumbup:

It feels amazing in your hand! I like the feel of it better than my much more expensive Chris Reeve Warrior knife. The micarta feels "soft" to the touch but is very durable. Your fingers do not feel cramped at all. The jimping could be slightly sharper, but it's perfectly positioned. As far as weight, it is a serious hunk of steel, but the balance is nearly perfect. It balances right where you fore finger is placed on the grip, so it feels lighter in the hand.

I really love it. Not sure I like the kydex sheath yet or not. I prefer leather, but I will certainly give theirs a chance.

What kind of cue is that in your picture. I have a couple of Predator Sneaky Petes and an old Willie Hoppie custom I've had for nearly forty years. The Hoppie is my "go to" cue.

The RC 5 is my favorite so far, due to the tank-iness of it. Grats on the RC 5
 
Did you put the belt loop/clip on the front or is that standard? Looks like it would push the knife handle out. I like your whole setup. If the pistol was a Glock instead of a Sig, it would be perfect. :)
 
The clip is an accessory with the sheath. It can be, and I have, removed it. Yes, it does push on the handle.

The pistol is a Sig P228, the best 9mm ever made :D:p;). I like my glocks, but the Sig is by far my favorite.

looks like you put the clip the wrong way to me...I believe its meant to be put the other way around
 
I don't have an RC-5 (yet), but :thumbup::thumbup: to the SIG. Got a P229 Bi-Tone myself.

Have had my 228 for a good dozen years or so and it is still my favorite pistol and I think I've owned damn near all of 'em! Ironically, it is the ergonomics of it I love most - not unlike my spankin new RC5!:D A perfect pair really!:p
