This is one fine folder.Fit and finish are excellant. The blade is tight but action is very smooth. The blade shape, grinds and finish are beautiful.I am anxious to put this rugged tool to use.
I was curious as to how well the clip would hold and it seems to grip jeans very well, partly due to the finish on the handle. The handle feels nice and comfortable too.I removed the lanyard, just don't have a need for one.Does anyone use their lanyard?Oh,since I have this awesome piece does this mean I can get rid of all my other knives.;^)
Thanks

How are marks left from Levis rivets removed from the titanium handle on the Sebenza?

Light scratches can be removed by polishing the handle with various grits of sand paper or you could use a scotch brite pad. I've never done either, so I can't tell you how it is really done. But if you decide to try the scotch brite technique make sure the pad you use is one of the less abrasive ones.

Also keep in mind that for $20 you can send your knife back to the factory and have your handles rebead blasted.

I have just purchased a large Sebenza and agree that it is the best folding knife I have ever used. Now what do I do with all my other folders?. I have replaced the standard lanyard with a longer one. The extra length is tied with a knot on the end and I make sure to place the lanyard around my wrist before I remove the knife from my pocket. That way I will not have heart failure as it prevents my precious Sebenza from falling to the floor. If you are interested I can send you a scan of the lanyard.

Dalerich,

I would very much like to see this scan.
If you would please send it to me.
Thanks,

Dale,

My precious sebenza has fallen to the concrete floor not once but twice!!! I almost died both times, but somehow made it through.

Oh the pain where are my pills?

I know that it is bound to happen sooner or later and that is why I did not get a decorated Sebenza. This is a serious knife and I am not afratd to use it. The great thing is that Chris can make it look like new

I've had a Sebenza fall from my pocket, striking the asphalt below.

Miraculously.....after a close exam...I couldn't find any damage on the Knife.

But when I looked down at the road...there was a chuck of asphalt missing from where the 'Benza met the road.

1 tough knife!

1 chunked-out road.

I've also dropped my other knives including my Benchmade 705. The G10 in the 705 now has a large chip (along with other smaller chips). To make matters worse the chip is white. This was surprising because even my Zytel folders took falls better than this. The damage on my sebenza on the other hand is hardly noticable.
