Nah, no mods. I was just way, way down at the bottom of the list. :)

This may be the most comfortable handle I've ever used while using a strong forehand grip.

I was able to cut through much bigger sticks than I would have thought with this one. I never felt the blade was out of control during the cutting.

Nick has the contours just right on this one. I didn't experience any hot spots or hand fatigue while working. I will, of course, have to do some more testing which will require more field time... :cool:

I still haven't used it to strike a firesteel but I'll rectify that over the weekend. :)

The thought Nick puts in to the size and shaping of his handles is what really sets it apart for me. :thumbup: I can cut with it all day.
 
Congratulations on your new knife and to Nick for his success with this design. I was number 19 or so on the list so I guess I'm one of the luckier ones but those of you who are still waiting can rest assured that you'll love your knife once it arrives. Certainly one of the best custom knives I've bought since becoming a member of this forum.

I wonder how many knives Nick is up to now???
