Got my Southard flipper. for sure my new favorite.

Yeah, but the 0560 blade is way bigger per square area.

Which is exactly why the southard takes 1st place with me. To have a knife that is considerably smaller but retain almost the same amount of cutting edge is preferable for my needs. I know some just like big knives but Thats just what works for me.
 
Just got mine the other day too.

I'm really enjoying it. Brad sure designed a great knife with this one, and Spyderco did an excellent job putting it together!
 
I've been enjoying it since i recently got it & can't seem to put it down. Very well put together.
Not fond of flippers so much but this one's definitely a keeper. :cool:
 
Flippers are my perfect folder. I've been enjoying mine as well, I am finding the handle a tad small, and the jimping downright sucks, the pocket clip should of been a different finish, --other than stainless, but I still like the Southard.
 
Just received mine and one thing that I really like, there are many actually, is that it carries very small in the pocket. I judge this based on how easy it is to reach in for my car keys when the knife is clipped in. My large Sebenzas can be a struggle to get around depending on my pants but the Southard is easy.
