Got my Zing!

No, I don't love the Zing...

I am using the photobucket app and tapatalk which makes it pretty easy to post one picture. My problem is I can only copy 1 IMG link at a time so when I am making a post I have to keep switching back and forth between the two apps and saving my post. Am I missing something that makes it easier?

If it is android, long press the home button and switch between the apps without closing either one, can't help you on iPhone.

You just tap the link once and it should copy it. Don't touch where it says URL or whatever but on the link itself.

Ohh I see. You have to press that one button to make the links appear. I'm new to androids. Thank you

I like everything about my zing besides the grooves. I don't really carry it because of them. I do fondle it quite often though.

No problem man. I thought I was on the Up and Up when it comes to these phones but solidorange showed me something today too.

No problem man! I am a former mod on an android forum so I know a few tricks, the app switcher being one of the most useful.

And just so this thread is still SOMEWHAT about zings: :p

Wow dude those are awesome. I am pretty simple when it comes to knives (and most other things as well), I generally prefer black knives with the only colors so far that I really dig are olive drab and desert sand, but those things look sweet.

I like orange... what can I say?

I actually have 5-6 more than that at the moment, but am waiting on a couple more scales to come in before I take a new picture. :D

OK, apparently I'm not the only sick person on these forums. :-) That makes me feel slightly better about my splurge buy at Kershawguy's site today. I got the black Zing mostly because I wanted another 3 inch blade for carry in DC, and a Speedform II because it was *beautiful* (so I convinced myself it was really a 3 inch blade). I like orange too, although if you put several different shades of orange together I'm bound to think one of them is green.

This is the first tanto blade I've ever owned. Figured I had to have at least one because they're so often referred to in the fiction I read/write. I really like the "reverse tanto" though. That's a gorgeous blade style.

Franken-Zings... Got a green blem from kershawguy to do this. Wish the screws (pivot and handle) came in silver. I think that would look a little better. But, I'm perfectly content having a grooved blade Zing w/ green G10 handles. :D

I have been thinking about ordering the OD tanto zing from Dave. I think I'll have to go ahead and get one. The Zing was my first Kershaw I ever purchased and is what got me into Kershaw.

I got the same (OD Zing) from Kershawguy as well. Just arrived yesterday. I was going to transplant the grooved blade from my regular Zing into that. I thought the scales on the OD Zing would be FRN but was pleasantly surprised to find they were G10. :)

I like the idea of swapping the blades. I may have to do that as well. Thanks for the idea!

Still on the topic of Franken-Zings... Does anybody here know if the pivot and handle screws on the Zing SS are the same size (head and threading) and length as the US-made ones?

Dont have an answer for you but I like where you are going. I am thinking a zing with a black blade, green scale and a frame lock. Interesting if it would work
