First off, this knife is amazing! Fit and finish is like no other. The KVT bearings is fantastic. The CF is beautiful!

To my surprise, I'm finding this knife a little on the small side. It just feels small in my hands.

With that said, should I be looking at the 0452CF 0804CF or maybe the 0095.

Currently having a thing with black blades or of darker finish.

The 0450CF is probably my current most frequent EDC knife. It's a pretty significant jump up in size from the 0450CF to 0452CF or 0804CF. For my EDC uses, I've been gravitating towards the 0450 more often mainly due to size, although my 0454 (same size as the 0452) still finds its way in regularly. I've been carrying my 0804CF pretty regularly for the last few weeks as well, and, like the 0452CF, it's actually pretty comfortable to carry for being as large as it is. If you like the look of the CF handle with the DLC blade, the 0804CF may fit the bill.

I don't have a shot of the 0450 and 0452 handy, but here are a couple with the 0450 and Skyline, and then a 0452 and Skyline:

Another one to consider is the 0770CFM4. It's a bit larger than the 0450, but it is still a nice, slim carry in pocket. The CFM4 version also has carbon fiber handles and a DLC blade (M4 steel).

0770cf is smaller than the 0804cf. Also much slimmer in pocket. Both are great however.
804 has bearings and the 770 is an assisteducational opener.

Flarps suggestions echo mine like usual!

0770cfm4, 0452cf, 0804cf. I don't think you can go wrong!

On loan (0770CF) from a one of the great members here along with the 0808.

The CFA is surprisingly stiff considering how thin it is but than again isn't that the function of the CF, to be thin, strong and light weight?

Here it is with another CFA marvel, the Beretta/Warren Thomas CF Avenger with laminated VG10/CF blade.

Hilarious I saw this because I was just about to post a thread about my brand new 450CF I got Wednesday. I love my 808, and the 450CF makes it look like crap in comparison. It's an aether weight knife that just oozes class. I think I'm in love.

How would you compare the 0804CF to the 0770CFM4?

The 0770 and 0450 are the same length, whereas the 0804 is much larger. The 0770 and 0450 are both about 0.4", whereas the 0804 is at about 0.5". The footprint of the 0770 is much smaller than the 0804. And, as bad_juju mentioned, the 0770 is an assisted opener (not sure if it can be de-assisted - I haven't tried). My 0770CF has been one of my most frequently carried knives more recently (probably only behind the 0450CF), although my 0770CFM4 still hasn't gotten its turn yet (too many knives, too little time).

There are some shots of the 0452, 0804, 0770, and 0450 together below, as well as a couple with the 0804, 0095, and 0450.

Heh. I'd say "great minds think alike", but "great" might not be quite right... ;)

I just got the 0450CF I agree it's very small in hand, almost to small. I feel the grip is comfortable once the blade is deployed. I find when you have to flip it open or close it then you notice it's almost too small, and makes opening/closing more difficult then it should be. But otherwise I feel it's excellent build quality, solid, sharp, beautiful, love it!

I also got the 0804CF after realizing the 0450CF was too small, now this is a much better size IMO.

Thank you flarp and bad_juju.

So I'll skip on the 0770CF and go for the 804CF. Since the 804CF is of the newer collection/ generation. Do like the KVT bearing.. [emoji4]

So I just ordered the 804CF.

Funny I carried my Random Leek for 3 years. My best friend kept persuading me to get the Spyderco Paramilitary 2.
And as I get that and my 0405. My on a splurge..

Now.. 0452CF or 0095BW ? Father's day is coming up.. So I have to let my wife know.

Thanks again guys!

Can't decide between ZT452CF ZT804 ZT566CF ZT562CF and Souther Grind Spider Monkey.... this just made my decisions more difficult lol

Great choice on the 0804CF. When I first looked at ZT's 2016 lineup, I wasn't really sure what to make of the 0804CF. After having used it for a few weeks though, I'm finding I like it a lot.

Heh. All those are great choices. I don't have any Southern Grind knives (yet), but after having handled some at Blade last week, the Bad Monkey and Spider Monkey are both definitely on my wish list now.

So after carrying the 804 for a few days.. The knife is simply amazing!

Quite on the larger side for my personal EDC needs. But it's just such an amazing quality piece.

I do have one complaint though, the pocket clip is too firm/ tight. It takes both my hands to get the knife to sit in my pocket.. Am I doing something wrong??

No - I have the same thing with mine; the clip is 3d machined ti, and it's a strong one. I have a little trouble with pants that have thicker materials, like Redhead cargo pants etc.

It is not a problem on my dressier pants. I am hesitant to do any bending or adjusting on the clip, so I just use two hands where it becomes necessary.
