Got myself a brand new Kershaw Cryo 2 today and is this a problem?

So I got a knock on my door today and came a little brown box. Inside it was a Kershaw Cryo 2 Backwash, I fell in love with it as soon as I held it TILL I opened it, idk if that was normal but it didn't open all the way. Keep in mind that, I just flicked the tounge with my finger without using any kind of motion. It happened a few times. Now if I use it and motion my hand as if im passing cards around the table it opens up nicely and locks in to place. I don't have this issue at all with my Kershaw Clash which opens up with or without motioning my hand, it opens up like a boss. Any thoughts?

Wash it in very hot water with dish soap.

Loosen the pivot a hair, that should work. You could also hit it up with some lube. Probably the thicker oil from the factory and or the pivot tightness is the culprit. You could always reach out to Kershaw customer service if needed.

Pivot is too tight just slightly loosen it
