Got Myself a Harley Davidson Road Glide!

Nice buy:thumbup:
I have a 2003 Duece with a little over 10k...... I think I'll go for a ride this weekend:D

put some ape hangers on it. Just put some on my Road King Classic, makes the long rides much better!

Congratulations, Salvo. The Road Glide is Harley's best kept secret. I have heard that a large number of employees at the York, Pennsylvania Harley plant, where they make Road Glides, Ultra classics etc, ride Road Glides. You will really enoy that fixed fairing in cross-winds. My friends with ulta classics are envious because they have to fight with their fairings. And the Road Glide's instrumentation isn't right in your face like it is on the Ultra Classics.

It looks like you got some nice extras on the bike as well. The tour pack, backrests, smoked windshiels, etc are not standard equipment. And, just think, a lot of Harley riders will get confused about waving to you because they thought they were coming up on a dual headlight Goldwing instead of the one dual headlight model that Harley makes.

Enjoy!

Thanks!
I had apes on my 1978 FLH and had just the opposite experience on long rides, no fairing though, I felt like a sail in 70 mph wind, made my arms go numb!
Good points jbass! what year is yours? If you ever make a run to Vegas give me a yell.
Going to stretch it's legs tomorrow and do a two day'r into Utah, it's cooler that direction!
