Greetings you all :)

Yesterday I finally received (first sending went wrong :grumpy: ) my long awaited red boned Swayback Jack Gent.

And what a nice knife this is.

Perfect fit and finish and rock solid with not a hint of wobble.
I almost need a pliers for opening the bugger, but I guess this will take care over time.

Very nice and shiney with a high polished handle(pocket worn) and blade.

Feel almost guilty of using it.

But I put it in my pocket anyway and plan on using it anyway:D

Here is a pic that I borrowed from the site of New Graham where I bought it.

Can't get the picture uploading down on this computer and my pic wouldn't be better anyway.

So:

If we start feeling guilty about using our production knives what'll be next?...Feeling guilty for getting dressed and wearing our new pants outside? Putting on and wearing out our shoes? ;):p

Carry and use that knife. You'll be glad you did.

I agree. But I think everyone has a few production knives they dont use.

Maybe many or most but assuredly not everyone. I know several that won't buy a knife (custom or production) that they won't carry and use.

Will not buy a knife to only put on a shelf. If I inherit some knives, I will most likely still carry them (gently) just out of respect and remembrance.

Great choice. Use it and enjoy it. Mine is starting to get some slight patena on the wharncliffe blade. I have used many of my knives pretty hard and after some clean up and sharpening they look fine. I have retired a few and looking at the wear and nicks and marks just brings back some good memories. You cannot take them with you....
