Real wood is good. Something special about old stock from before they moved too! I'm excited for this one to arrive.

cool story bout the wood----joe told me that he saved it when they were cleaning out the shop in san diego---he said there was many many boxes he saved--when they got to north Idaho he would sit in front of the fire place and throw them in by the handful---he burnt about a box that way and then came to his senses and saved the rest---well here is some now on an le that we all can buy---kool huh....man I'm glad he thought that over carefully....maybe we will see more in the future....
I cant wait to see the real solid wood too --finished product--I saw the woods in a box but that aint the same as the finished knife----I am going to pick mine up at the factory on Thursday so I will post a pic in the afternoon...

I think I would have jumped in the fireplace after them!

Can't wait to see the pic!

And BOOM!

They're all gone. Glad I got one.

Took a second stag 121 today before they're all gone too.

^that didnt take long. the buying power of the buck forum and collectors

I got word they don't have nickel silver bolsters as depicted on their website. They'll be brass. It really makes no difference to me.

Just got home and got the email to. A wrong description is one thing, but a wrong picture, there's not a lot of excuse for. NS bolsters was a selling point for me.

Mismatched scales are a blem in my book. I really hope I dont get one like that.

I noticed that the guy who matches scales had one black sock and one yellow sock.

Maybe somebody should give him an eye test.
