Got out the Soldering iron tonight

You may want to check with Ethan and KA-BAR before you make your mold. You might be treading into design infringement territory. Modifiing one pair you bought is one thing, producing and selling is another.
 
has anyone bead blasted some grivory handles? beuller?

I could always sell the mold to them........:cool:
 
I just did another set tonight. I figured I might as well get it out of the way for when I order the BK5.

I used a different tip for the soldering iron and it looks more like a golf ball pattern on these scales. Pics to come in a little bit! :)

oh man i like the second one better! which solder tip you use? or did you make your own tip?
 
On the first set I used a tip that looks like a masonry trowel and the second tip I used looks like used No.2 Pencil eraser (blunt but a little round).

If you want to test how it will come out just pop the scales off and test it on the inside.
