Well I went out to the lake today to do a little bass fishing. Fishing was real good in the morning and slowed up around 1ish. (must of been bass lunch hour) So I pilled the boat to an island and decided to play with some new knives.
I thought I'ld be fishing alone, guess not.

nice pics, congrats on the fish, even if they aren't too big...

that looks like a nice blade...and i guess you do need something bigger to smack around...something like that whole log instead of just the branch perhaps?..

HI AK, Landi MPM, DSKW Puukko, Gossman WTK, DP knives Hunter

I like that largemouth....I rarely catch them as there are more smallies this way.
I also like that Landi knife!

"This HI AK is freakin awesome!"

haha, my experience with HI has been much the same...

looks like a fun day, thanks for those other photos

Nice pics Tony,

You have some nice looking knives there! That bocote handled one is sweeet....I was eyeing it for awhile. How is the Landi? He makes some nice looking stuff. And the diving sparrow? C'mon you better give the reviews on each, bro.

I am not one to give reviews as I don't feel I am experienced enough to critique a makers work. I will however give my oppinion.
The DSKW Puukko is worth every penny I paid, It feels sturdy and substantial in hand and the comfort of the handles is amazing. It was razor sharp when I got it and remains so after the use yesterday. I love how this blade cuts, reminds me of the BRKT Fox river as it just wants to eat wood!

The Gossman WTK is my new EDC, Y ou all know the quality of Scott's work, and nothing different on this one. Just excellent in all aspects.

The Landi feels great in hand and has alot of weight to it as I had him make the scales fatter. The blade is easy to control and it is fun to use. I only wish it came sharper, I am not the greatest sharpener out there. But it is an extremely solid knife!

The DP is probably not as pretty as the others, but Damn that lil guy is tough. Doug shipped it to me shaving sharp and the edge still remains that way. When batonning the 3rd piece of wood, I hit a rock( I'm a dumbass) and the edge has no damage whatso ever. It is a great cutter. If you like small knives you will not be dissapointed in these. I paid well under a $100, for this blade. Once more people start using his stuff I forsee a price increase.

Tony thanks for the compliments it is good to hear that after that ooooppppps she is still slicing. it is guys like you that keep me making knives. thanks again Doug
