got some extra fire wood.......(pic heavy)

Sweet! You're making me think I NEED a 5/16" Busse...

Although I've yet to run into anything the 1/4" BM-E couldn't handle. But one more big blade would't hurt ;)

ok, so im sitting here enjoying a beer looking at the forums....suddenly without warning the beer is empty!!!!

HH says, 'id like a shot at that can!"

again, no roll on the edge, (goes w/o saying no chipping), and still very sharp!!!

may touch it up on the steel, but thats it.

(Note to self, Get an HH!) :D
Thanks for the pix!!
Jaxx:cool:

Cool photos:cool:
Although seeing the green coating peeled back on theat HR is making me dizzy:eek: I have a green/tan one that I cant bear to chop with. Oh well thats why I have a black/black one.
Thanks for sharing the pics.
BTW... did you even swing on the can or did you just drop the knife from about 6" over the can;)

There is some minor smoothing on both coatings, but no peeling. might just be the light or the angle. didnt know what to expect from the coating, but i am very happy with how they both performed.

Sorry, did not mean to use the phrase peeling. Most of my knives display the same worn down coating look that is assosciated with woodwork. Woodwork and/or digging with a knife destroys the coating, that is why I am reluctant to chop with my greenie and my wifes camo SJT.

Cool pics, thanks for sharing.
Kinda makes me want to go out and play a little with my FSH (HH is still a safe queen :D).

Well its not a Coors Light at least..........................

And best wishes with your evaporation studies. I too have found that when a beer is opened in time it becomes empty. Sometimes slower and sometimes faster. There are theories about this of course, but more - MANY MORE - studies need to be run before we can fully solve this mystery.

Good luck with yours. :D

yes, i am investigating this mystery again right now. the beer appears and feels full, but after i pick it up, it becomes lighter and lighter.

Excellent - continue your studies! But be careful to document your efforts well. All too often due to sloppy work many of the important details are lost - which makes us need to redo the study again and again.

Ah but such is the nature of science. Again - Good Luck
