It wasn't too hard to grind. Similar to around A2. It just took a long time because it was such a big knife.

In the heat treat oven now. Keeping my fingers crossed that it won't warp. I had to scrap 1 out of 2 Ultra Thin Santokus last night due to warpage. That thin stuff is really fustrating me right now.
