Any info will help! How old is it? Value? What's it's made of? Who could have made it?? How old it maybe?

Looks like a carved bone blade tied onto a carved wood handle with some leather thong. Depending on the condition of the leather thong and if it has ever been replaced, I'd guess it was made within the last 20 years by a hobbyist. Looks neat

The "blade edge" looks dull which makes me think it's a spear. Still a cool find

Might be a harpoon head or copy . Looks to part of something more ?

Stylistically speaking, I'd say it looks to be Inuet (sp?) or other Native American made from the upper Canadian/Alaskan area. Just a guess though - but the smoother, rounded shape of the "face" on the handle end sure looks right.

I would agree that it's not a knife, but more of a spear or harpoon type of tool. The bone tip for piercing of some sort, and the handle end with a hook for pulling things towards you. The 'nose' could also possibly serve some purpose (prying maybe?)

My best guess is it's a native made souvenir, bought on someone's trip up north in the last 30-50 years. Just like you find dream catchers all over the Southwest. Could be worth some money, or could just be a tourist's trinket.

This of course, is all just a best guess.

^ ha ha ha.

Thinking back, that bird-like pommel looks like an Aztec eagle. Mesopotamia influence. So, it could also be the Native American design or Mexican bird head design that followed that Aztec style.

Nah, that's a clearly a Viking whaler's knife. Maybe a replacement harpoon, the creature at the end look like a dolphin or a Beluga to me. It's probably a very old relic from the 950-1000 era.
