For years leading up to the release of the multi colored handle kit we had been asked by the general public (read: non-BF crowd) for some "color" options in the Becker line. The multi color kit was an easy accessory option, in conjunction with the micarta BK77 handles and Ultramid (R) black handles. They certainly had their moment (we are well aware they were not for everybody), but have also heard what you have been saying here. AWSOME! Only 9,999,000 leftThanks for chiming in OKB. I understand when you guys come out with handles options you can't make everyone happy. I am glad that you guys put thought into making extra becker accessories for all us crazy beckerheads. I look forward to newer handles in the future and Ill still be purchasing a set of your current color option.
Drew the stripes on masking tape, and cut them out. Used Krylon Fusion, made for plastic, to paint with.yup that one has traveled all over the internet! How did you put the stripes on the handles?

Thanks Okb just haven fun about the quantity of the silly colored scales. But offering micarta for some of the other popular blades might not be such a bad idea and thanks for the 3 styles you do offerYou are welcome and thank you for the thread. I have talked to many Beckerheads over the years at Blade Show and other events and one of the topics that always comes up is the footprint of the Beckerhead group. We wish everyone that bought a knife was as die hard about steel, handle material, and sheaths as all of you here and understood the value that different materials represent. Unfortunately that is usually not the case. It generally boils down to price and accessories. The knives themselves in the Becker family serve as an affordable chassis to introduce folks to the brand. Accessories such as micarta handles and 710 sheaths are nice upgrades that don't have to be purchased at an elevated cost from day one.
There isn't a ton of the current handled colored kits left. I can assure you it is well under 9,999,000.
