Got To Love The Postal Service!

I really should not complain, this is the first one with this many problems, although a few have made some unusual stops, like the one going to Connecticut that went to Nevada first! I should also say that thanks to a certain moderator many years ago, I learned the correct way to package a knife. :o

And I got a sweet EDC without the wait!:D

Never really had a problem with USPS. This year both my sister and myself received damaged/lost Christmas card, which was kinda odd, but it hasn't happened before except a magazine or two. I ship and receive stuff everyday and rarely have I received a damaged a box from USPS/UPS/FEDEX, but maybe I'm in a great region. Damages usually on odd/long boxes and the worst offender is Fedex IMO. Unless it is aired, it seems that USPS varies 1 day sometimes compared to UPS, which is very accurate.

In 1970 when I was appointed, the US Post Office Department became the US Postal Service. No longer a cabinet department funded by the Treasury, it was now an independent operating authority that raised its own revenue from goods and services. We have not been run by the US government for 40 years.

We were tasked with getting off the Federal budget in 10 years; we did it in 5. You may wish you paid less for postage, but our rates and service have compared very well all these years to other major industrialized countries.

Your hysterical laughter is an insult to the three-quarters of a million employees who deliver the vast majority of the mail on time.

I guess your U.S.P.S. learned good lessons from the U.S. Government before they left them then. And really, don't worry about my hysterical laughter! And I'm not going to get into a big shouting match with you over your opinion. I guess if this was my site that might make things a bit different but, it isn't, and I have more respect for John than that! So I guess it's just best you keep your opinion and stay on your side of the world and I'll do the same! I don't think I will be missing that much! What do you think about that?

Here's mine! Exact same issue. In fact, I'm on hold with Dallas sorting right now. Funny thing is, it NEVER even went to her house.
