Gotta love mammoth Bark:)

What exactly is mammoth bark?

The outer layer of pre-historic mammoth tusk is called mammoth ivory bark. It differs from the cream-to-white colored inner-cut mammoth ivory in a couple ways. It is said to be harder, which facilitated protecting the tusk from breakage during the animal's life. It has widely varying colors are determined by the particular minerals that were absorbed while it was in the ground for 10,000 or so years.

I especially love the damascus mammoth bark. Don't see those all too often.

I often think that putting bark with damascus can make for a busy looking knife. As such, I've tended to like inner-cut ivory with damascus blades.
