Damn they can be fast.
I ordered a BM31 from knivesrus on tuesday at about 4 pm with ground shipping and I just received it today. WOOHOO. I'm so thrilled I can't wait to start flippin this one. Now all I got to do is wait for Clay's sight to come up again so that I can start learning some of the aerials.
 
If the USPS is the United States Postal Service that do Global Priority Mail then I'm totally with you on this one. I ordered as well from Knivesrus on Monday and the item was here today, I've had items take longer when I order within the UK.
Another thing is they are so cheap, $10 for international mail is great although I don't think it's insured or whatever but compared to some of the other higher priced options by other mail companies, it's a first class service.
 
I love Express Mail 2-3 day service. It's 1/3 the cost of Fed Ex or UPS overnight and usually gets coast-to-coast in 2 days.

Unless it absolutely, positively has to be there overnight, I'll go Express Mail, thank you, and spend the savings on balisongs.

And the small Express Mail box (they give you nice boxes for free at the Post Office, you know) is just the right size for a most balisongs. Add a few packing curls and it's there!
 
I too must commend the USPS I've had many things including balis shipped and the service and dependability is great.
 
ill jump in on this too, nothing beats USPS priority mail in regards to speed and price. it's like a little under 4 bucks to get a package anywhere in the us in 2-3 days, while ups ground takes 5 days and their 2 day service is a lot more expensive

Ya usps is great. Ordered from knivesrus b4 and got here within 3 days. BUT OMG FRIKIN UPS SUX! holy crap! these loosers take forever to get here! The ups guy came to my door today and im all, "DUDE ITS MY KNIFE!". I open the door and check the package and its for my BRO! OMG!
 
Big fan of USPS Priority as well. But I have a selfish reason why. My zip code is serviced by the main distribution center for all of Queens, so I tend to get my packages a day ahead of schedule. :)
 
I agree 100% that USPS Priority Mail service is just about the best there is for price and speed of delivery/service (including Saturday delivery at no extra charge), but their Delivery Confirmation "tracking" could use some "work", as its' quality of information and consistency is way below that of others, (such as the UPS tracking).
 
USPS has a new service called FLAT RATE. It's basically a priority envelope, you can put as much as you want in it and it ship's overnight just about anywhere in the CONUS for $13.65. It's a great service for the money with tracking!
 
Yup :)., haven't had a problem with USPS Priority yet.., and with a Delivery Confirmation number.., it is still the least expensive semi-secure way to get something from one place to another...

For some reason when I receive a USPS package it'll take an average of 3 to 4 days, but when I send a package most people receive it in 2 days. I've even mailed a package on a Saturday and had it arrive on Monday! For the money they can't be beat.
 
I live In FL and i sent a spyderco to PA priority 2-3 days on wensday And it got there friday, thats pretty dam good:eek: :eek:
 
Kudos to USPS! Excellent pricing, speedy shipping and
they give you free shipping boxes for priority mail
service. UPS sucks! :p
 
i have always given kudos to the usps until today

wife sent a present to a friend .... got a shredded bit back today saying sorry it got "damaged". they say they still value us as a customer though... :rolleyes:
