KNIVES ARE SOLD
If one of you forumites wants em before the opening bid is made, I'll take $600 for em, shipping included. We could use Paypal, you just have to be descreet and not mention what you're paying for. :)
Here's a picture of what I'm selling. I'm just doing them all in one sale, can't deal with one at a time right now. Thanks for looking!!!

Also, why no PayPal anymore? I was unclear about that based on your post on the other site.

Good luck! Some good-looking SBs!

Lot, since Ebay bought Paypal they got their shorts in a bind over folks using it to buy and sell switchblades so they don't allow it anymore. Of course it's simple to just not mention what you're paying for on the Paypal web site but so many folks are stupid and type switchblade in caps. It's been in Paypal's regs for quite a while but they've really cracked down on it lately.
Oh yeah, I set a buy it now price of $850 on the auction but if you're interested you can probably get em for less by watching the auction.

It is unfortunate that you're unable to split them up for individual transactions . . . I like the looks of the stag-handled lever-lock.

Mike,

You can't link to an outside auction site. You've been here long enough to know that. We don't allow ebay links and this is basically the same thing.

Ok Ken, wasn't sure about that. Just delete the thread then. Sorry!!!!!!!!!!! Won't happen again, least for along time till I forget again. :)

We don't delete threads. Just edit out the the link to your auction and the website name.

You might want to find a different Auction site to post them on. I tried to sign up on sharperdeals.com to buy a knife and was told my phone number was no good and they would call later in the week...Never heard back so i just went away

I still don't know why a phone call is needed to sign up on an auction site when they don't have that many buyers or sellers for the most part let alone run people off from the start.

They've been having problems Karsten. Even had to change servers last week. I just figured since I'd bought most of em there I'd post em there. If they don't sell there I'll try one of the other sites. Thanks!!

$600 for 11 automatics is a really good price . . . but you'd get more if you sold 'em individually. I also like that picklock in black w/ olive wood scales.

I would tend to agree on the price and also on the thought that they would be about half sold on an individual basis.

Not to many folks that collect switchblades are in the market for a collection and to those that do $600.00 could look steep or just out of the budget all together.

There is a better chance that 5 or 6 people would have a $100-150 extra to spend on a couple knives that they really wanted.

Still a very nice bunch of knives.

I just joined this forum and I just want to comment on sharperdeal. I am a big supporter of them. If you have ever dealt with Bob you know he is a straight, honest guy, who will do his best to make things work. The site has only been up a while but he is usually extremely responsive. I think he is having one of those weeks. Support them, because I know he is out to make a great site and is very interested in seeing the hobby grow. No, I'm not a relative, just he was my first mentor and was just a nice guy from the beginining. I'm looking for toledo leverlocks, especially with MOP (faux) scales. not sure that belongs here, but I'm new, might as well get slapped on the wrist in the beginining and be forgiven (hopefully). Nice to meet all of you.
