Ordered I knife from GPknives a few days ago and there was a manufacture fault with it, nothing to do with GPknives. I contacted them and let them know and told them I wanted to return it and get a replacement piece. They were super easy to deal with and immediately told me to go ahead and send it back and my replacement piece is already on its way. I know this is what is expected from a dealer but I just wanted to express my appreciation for the ease with which the whole transaction went through.
Great people over at GPknives thanks guys!

Yup I agree. I've order multiple knives from them. Everything is shipped fast and all transactions have gone smoothly. Plus the prices. Great prices.

I've only had one transaction with them but they handled it personally and professionally with fast shipping and had the best price around. Will definitely look to go with them again for my next knife purchase.

They are a friendly bunch and very knowledgable as well. I live in St. Louis which is about 20 minutes from the shop, they are very helpful and always have had a great selection when I have visited.

They are one of the better knife shops, IMHO. Well run, nice set up, good shopping experience and very customer centric. I like doing business with them.

I have only had one transaction with GPknives. It was not a positive experience though. Years ago I ordered a Benchmade from them. The knife arrived to me with the blade so far off centered that it rubbed aggressively on the liner....more like scraped. I called them and asked about returning it for a replacement. I was told that I would of course need to pay return shipping (which I was fine with) and pay a restocking fee. I explained that I did not want to return the knife for a refund but just wanted to exchange it for a replacement. They told me that they inspect every knife prior to shipping and that if I wanted to exchange it I would have to pay the restocking fee. I of course refused. I sent the knife off to Benchmade and they replaced it free of charge. It goes without saying that that was my last purchase from GPknives.

you mentioned it was years ago so may I suggest that it was only years ago that that would have happened. I am 100% confident that if this happened again today they would have helped you out without question.

Joeyza...............sure man. You are free to offer any suggestions you would like. Can you tell me why you feel that the way my situation was handled would have only happened years ago? Is the company under new ownership? Are there some other extenuating circumstances that you have privy to? Why are you confident that today they would have helped me without question when years ago they flat out lied to me and gave me such a hard time over a very reasonable and fair request?
