GPS and trail maps on cell phone

So I am in need of a new phone and I want to get one with GPS and the ability to download trail maps and Tops. I know Blackberry uses Trimble Outdoors which looks pretty good. The Apple iPhone only has trailrunner 2.0 and from what I can tell, is not as fully functional as what BB offers.

Anyone out there using on or the other or both? If so, could you tell me your likes and dislikes and any other info that will help make an informed decision, I sure would apprecitate it.

I heard the palm pre has really good gps. not sure what software but i was messing around with one at the sprint store and its really cool. its also take gps stamped photos. not sure how useful that is but sounds cool.
