gps question

Have you or anyone ever flown with one? I would love it if it gets reception on an airplane. Of coarse it is probably not on the list of approved electronic devices, but I sure would like to play with one the next time I fly somewhere.
Don't know if it was technically approved, but I used my GPS on a plane from MD to CO (and back again) a few weeks ago. Reception was great and it was fun seeing speed (although who knows how accurate that was) as well as location.

I have used one on a chartered flight, and yes, it does have reception! Recorded speed, distance, etc. Pretty cool

That's an absolutely screaming deal! I'd of bought a few, for gifts and backpacking.

The Legend is a "mapping" GPS, and the Garmin MapSource products can be loaded into it.
