Listed price gets it to your doorstep. No trades or international shipping. Email robespo87@gmail.com with any questions. I respect the "I'll take it" timestamp, but I can sell or not sell to anyone, for any reason.
Gränsfors Scandinavian Forest Axe - $200 (CLICK FOR SPECS)
This axe has never been used. I lightly sanded the handle, and rubbed it down with 3 coats of chemical-free boiled linseed oil over a 72 hour period, and it feels wonderful in hand. I took as many pictures as I could to show all of the tiny imperfections from the hand forging, but I've seen and held a lot of these, and IMHO this one is pretty immaculate. The sheath has a few scuffs that were there when I bought it, but its nothing a little Obenauf's leather oil couldn't take care of. Hell, I'll throw a coat of it on before I ship it out if you want.
I don't know how many people are aware of this, but according to the Gränsfors website, in order to take advantage of their 20 year warranty you have to do the following:
1. Buy the axe from an "authorized retailer" (can be found by searching on their website)
2. Keep the receipt as proof
3. Mail in the warranty card found in the axe book
In this case I'm including the axe book, unused warranty card, as well as the original purchase receipt from Fjällräven, which is an authorized retailer. So I'm pretty sure you'd have no issues on the off-chance of a warranty claim. I'm just trying to get back most of my investment on this, so thanks for looking!
