Grab Bag Arrived!

I do not mean to frighten you but...

A peice of PVC tubing looks alot like a pipe bomb.

I asked them to send it in its birthday suit. Hopefully they remembered.

Of course if they think it is a bomb, then they might try to safely trigger it. I don't think a 12 guage blast would do much harm. It would make the piece much more interesting though...

Cheers.
BJB :D

Woohoo!!!

I went on vacation for a couple of weeks, returned last night, picked up the package today and just opened the tube a few minutes ago, man, what a big knife! :)

Mine has the teeth on it too, but has the oval busse logo, not the straight one like on Progunners'. It's definitely a keeper! :D

Let me update the Hogs about my grab bag.
My monster is just like Mike H's, but without the swedge,
oval Busse Logo.

Just another Classic Beauty from the Busse Group.

Seriously, I have noticed an increase in the number of stopped packages from the United States into Canada. That was an excelent idea not to ship it in the PVC pipe.

Can you post a pic of the shipping container you were talking about?

Thanks.

Nice job guys!

I guess it was a given that Jerry would take care of you.

You guys made out like bandits!!!!!:D

Well about an hour ago I took my new knife out and hacked in half a 6" diameter birchwood tree that had fallen during the winter due to high winds. It was a tough piece of wood and the Battle Mistress took about 60 blows to cut it in half (more because of my lack of technique and not being able to attack it at a different angle) but the blade did well and cut paper as cleanly as before the tree attack :)

I also cut a 4" diameter pine in half, didn't take but 15 swings or so, so I'm happy with the knife. The rat tail did bite into my pinky every 3rd blow, the rough desert finish was acting like sandpaper and tore some skin off, so I think I'll take some sandpaper or scotchbrite to that area to smooth it out. All in all, it's a heck of a knife!
