I have only been into collecting knives for about a year and a half, and its BF and all of the great members/pics that has kept my addiction going. I had won my first giveaway here not too long ago in the 'grab bag giveaway', the box I received was full of many interesting knives. I kept five knives (see the original giveaway thread for the details). I had a great time researching all of the knives that the "grab box" had to offer. Many I had never heard of or seen before. I also gave another three knives as gifts to friends who are into knives as well, which they loved. There are quite a few left over!
I don't need/want a lot of knives sitting around that I will never use so I have decided to add a few other knives back into the mix and give them away to some one else who could use/gift them.

Here are the rules:

1) Post a pic of a traditional knife you love to use (If you can't post a pic how about a link, and any posts without pics won't be considered for the GAW);

2) You must live in the US;

3) One entry per person, and your post number is your entry number;

4) Of these knives you don't want to use or carry yourself you have to give away to others, be they friends, family, other forum members, or have another give away.

I'll run this until 6/17/16, and random draw a number. If the winner doesn't have PM/email, please e-mail me through mine so I can ship out the box, or um, I mean bag.

Sounds fun. I'm in with this Robeson from my wife's late grandfather.

This was given to me as a gift and it's my favorite knife to carry! I love TCs! Thanks for the chance!

So far this Colt has been my favorite. It's big, built well and has a nice selection of blades.
I use it to slowly yurn wood into shavings.

Thanks for doing this!

This Lanny’s Clip was gifted to me by it's maker, Brent Cramer (blades&grace). Amazing knife, amazing gesture, amazing guy/maker!

I'd love the opportunity to try out some new patterns and gift some knives to friends and family!

Jfowl31, I think you got a little something on the blade there. :D

Cool giveaway! My 85 has often been in my pocket since I got it. It's still new but has been used plenty:

Thanks for a fun GAW, Jeff! Another example of our generous little community at work. Since my own 1000th post is apparently imminent I could use any overflow in non-keepers to pad my own humble GAW in the near future, especially because I've already traded one or two knives that I consider "nice" and worthy of passing along to others, so my "overstock" is a little thin right now. :o

One of the knives at the front of the pack for "Knife of 2016" is my trusty Case amber jigged bone #75 stockman with carbon blades. Because of the etch on the knife, I named it Mac. I used to carry Mac nearly every day, though I've given it a little time off between carries lately (mostly because my selection of knives has gotten so much larger). It has a very useful selection of larger blades and the 4.25" frame feels just right in my oversized meathooks. :)

Mac before the patina started setting in...

...and after about a half-year of regular carry.

Good luck to everyone and thanks again, Jeff!

My daughters call this my Samurai Jack, since it has a black handle, and two blades. Just like a Samurai's set up.

One of my two well used Sodbusters in O1.

Thanks for the chance and good luck folks!

If I am lucky enough to get chosen, I will do another box gaw with some added items.
I already have some knives picked out!
