Grab bag hauls

Another (what I think) is a custom shop game warden 2! Nice. Don't see a lot of those. I have no idea what the scrap yard is. About an 8 inch blade?

I think it must be a Prototype. The most recent Sykco blades in that size were the 3-22 and the 4-21 and that is not them

Nice one, kind of wish I bought the more expensive bag for a chance at that.

On another note I got screwed by the UPS, the driver didn't bother calling the call box, just left a note on the front gate saying SECOND delivery attempt failed, and he'd come back on Monday...knowing what he just did, he would leave same bloody note on Monday and I'd have to pick up at a random UPS store on Wednesday. I think after cable companies, I hate UPS and more than anything...

That's a bummer for sure. That's happened a couple times and it's definitely no fun. I ended up leaving a note when I ordered from Busse to ship USPS and have had no problem with getting them on the first attempt.

Yeah, I'm going to have to do that too... just want to give credit where credit is due, people at the warehouse were awesome. They actually looked for supervisor, who then went and checked for the truck location and uf it hadn't unloaded my packages into big pile yet.

Now, the driver just wanted to call it an early Saturday so, I assume, he could catch the Barbie movie. That truck was already offloaded. And their call center, flat out lied, stonewalled, and was a complete disaster. In the end the guy told me to call the police if I wanted to, because even if my package was stolen there is nothing I can do about it due to their procedure...

As I said thought, warehouse people were helpful and understanding.

Few things I did learn. First, I know where their sorting facility is from where packages get delivered. Second, check delivery status often, and if they did that, forget calling them, just go to the sorting center. Third, apparently if you tell them it's medicine for grandma they have more authority to look for it (I said it was tools).

I think I'm going to call my GW2, Black Hand Warden...or Blak Wing Warden....the more I look at it the more it looks like those 5 black streaks are like fingers or a wing...

Way to go! I knew I seen that model before, but couldn't place it!
That is it. Actually Father & Son Traditional Sharpening Father & Son Traditional Sharpening was nice enough to teach it to me about that very knife.
It's a pretty cool design. I'm not a fan of finger choils though. Going to try to sell it. I caught the grab bag bug, when what I should have done was just spend more and buy the busse I want. Live and learn!

The grab bag bug is cool to have. At least you tried it.
Which Busse are you going after?!

Haven't decided yet. A big one in INFI. I like the war train, afbm, the fusion battle cry (I think that's the name), and a couple others that may be out of production.
I may just wait for a CPK chopper.....all just depends on timing and circumstances.

That’s a handsome piece. Has such purity of purpose. Nothing gaudy or superficial—just honest lines, the rich glow of fine wood, a glint of polished steel, and contours you can’t wait to feel settling into your hand.

Heh, I do on the other hand love that knife. If, I knew I'd get that knife I would have for sure gotten that more expensive bag. But, considering that game warden is about $400 with a few $'s that proto knife only cost you what, a $100? I'm sure whatever it sells for, it's going to let you buy whatever large infi you want...maybe if you stretch it, one of the bigger rolling thunder pieces! Or maybe you can trade fkr something you'd like?

Thank you! It is literally all that. Even mosaic pins, the 3 colors are the colors of the yellow liners, polished blade and black wood streaks. It flows so organically... trick now is to figure out what kind if sheath I want for it.

Thinking something maybe Native American themed in light tan leather or something...but I don't even know how I'd want to carry it yet.
