Grab bags round 2 official pic thread

Yeah MSe is a keeper I think. Handle seemed a little cramped but I'm warming up to it.
 
How wide is your hand?
I am trying to get an idea how my hand would fit the handle.

My palm is about 4" across and the handle is 4" between the talon hole centers so it's a little cramped depending on grip.

Fwiw, their released info lists it as having a 3 3/4" blade and 8 1/2" oal, that is 4 3/4" for a handle.

I take it that this measurement must be from ricasso to tangs end?
 
Here's mine - shipped a couple weeks ago and was just delivered to me by a family member.

Somehow I managed to get the same two blades as my only two other Busse knives, which is actually pretty awesome.

Anyone know what the handle material on the custom shop MSe is?

And I believe that's a sage coating on the SHe2, but it's not coated along the spine; and I don't know what that kind of finish is called -- difficult to capture in the pictures

Nice score! It looks kinda like Rams horn, but I have no idea if that material was ever used by the CS.
 
Rams horn was what I was going to say also. One of my favorites, for looks. Never had any, so I don't know how it holds up.
 
That rams horn is sweet! Translucent horny goodness! Only thing that would make me like it more would be to have the liners gold leaf, instead of orange. But I'd not kick it it out of my collection for that!

I'd like to see that one in the sunlight. I bet those orange liners make it pop!

Nice scores everybody, I never jumped at any of the grab bags, not much of a gambler.
But of all of the knives I would say the Ash 2's with multi colored g10 are the coolest, and I would have been extremely happy if I had gotten one.:thumbup:

I agree, I was fortunate enough to score an ASH2 Black Blade with Tequila Sunrise handles. (Post Grab Bags- I scored her off the exchange) Can't wait to see it in person tomorrow.

I love all the blades i got, only thing that was abit sad was that i got a bt6 in both my bags
