Curious. Cannot tell from pics. How much coloration, steaks versus black, is there?. Is it black/black or are there other colors. Hope I have made my question clear.
There is none of the caramel or beige you see in low quality ebony, there is a little bit of grey streaking. I wouldn't call it solid black, but its certainly high grade. 2 and 4 are the darkest "they came from the same board." 4 is probably the darkest over all execpt for that one small light streak you on the back. If you are resawing them for scales you should be good.
