Yes- another Kydex question. Here it goes. When looking at the Kydex website I am unsure what grade of kydex is used in knifemaking. Examples that I am talking about are: T, 100, 110, 152 (wood grain appearance- could be neat), 6200, 6565. I am wanting to get some larger sheets in different colors and none of the knife suppliers websites had this info listed. I want to make sure that I get the right kind as I have heard that there are non-thermoformable varieties.
Thanks all who can help!

As far as i know the types used most often are
T, and 100
.060" and .080" thickness
one side smooth, one side hair cell

The difference between Kydex100 and KydexT is the 100 was the original composite and is about 15% more shock resistant than the KydexT.
The KydexT was recommended by Kleerdex for most sheaths and is 25% cheaper than the Kydex100.
As for thickness, it depends on what you like working with and typical application. Makers I have talked to like the snap of the 0.060 better than the 0.080 unless the blade is greater than 7 inches. Then the 0.080 is preferred
