Grafknives tactical tomahawk V-01C.

Today I have to a few last pieces of current tomahawk batch.
All hawks are 100% made in Poland/Europe by Melontools company.


Hawks are made out of lasercut 4340 ultra high strength steel. This is nickel enriched version of 4140 used by many hawk makers.
Addition of nickel allow this steel to reach much combination of both HIGHER toughness and hardness than 4140.
4340 is benchmark for all super-steels used in aerospace industry.

Heat treatment - precise grain reduction process and
uniform heat treated to about 52 hrc.

Hawks are 14 1/2 inches long with about 9 inches long head.
Cutting edge is 2 1/2 inch
Weight - 22 oz.

Surface is black oxided.

Handle is covered in line-x - tough polyurethane rubber with optional paracord wrap at no additional cost.

Probably just a bit of patience required. He can be slow on comms (this is not his primary job), but he comes through in my experience. These are nice hawks, BTW.
 
Thank you for your patience. Indeed, I was busy flying my drone for past two weeks. It was high season.
Also got my car broken into (thankfully no equipment (or hawks :D) inside)

Slightly remodeled edge, diamond shape spike and handle prepared for micarta/g10 handle slabs (as alternative for rubber+paracord.)
handle slabs should also be ready.
And also first tries with proper kydex sheath - it aint easy
 
Received 'hawk today. Great product and even greater service. Positive feedback submitted.
 
Would it be possible to order a spike hawk that doesn't have a full skeletonized handle? I remember seeing old designs that were partially skeletonized. I have some ebony handle scales that I want to add to your hawk to make it perfect for myself, tho without a center anchor point it won't work quite as well. Please let me know if it will cost extra to load the old laser program or to alter the current one. Tho I hope u have a couple still laying around. Thank you
