Arrived in the mail a few days ago. I'm not sure if I could ever bring myself to use the knife, but it's definitely the best folder I have ever handled (from a fit/finish perspective). I hope Mick finds a way to make production version of his MSC Performance Center Line. The level of precision and quality found in this SnG is absolutely incredible.

I am horrible at waxing poetic, so hopefully the pictures will best illustrate where my words often fail.

Milled Titanium Showside. MSC did away with the spanner pivot (on production models) and replaced it with a more accessible/tunable allen key pivot.

Lockside utilizes the same Hinderer over-travel. Pocket clip is attached via pillar and is Left/Right Carry Deep Pocket.

Gorgeous Chromium Nitrate Coated CTS-204P blade with an asymmetrical grind. Blade sits on Nylatron washers.

Engraved "M. Strider" in finger choil. Nice early lockup with absolutely zero play or stick.

Incredible detail on the titanium standoffs.

Iv always wondered how those Strider/Performance/MSC deep carry clips feel in hand.

Whether you choke up on the knife and use the choil or not, the clip disappears in hand. I prefer it over the standard lockside attached Strider clip, which actually protrudes more and is in more noticeable in hand.

If you don't use it - you'll never know how good it really is .....

Congratulations on the MSC Performance SnG. Way different than the production Striders.
As great as it is, you're not doing the knife justice by not using it. The stonewashed slabs hold up very well hiding small wear marks. The blade coating is strong and will hold up.
The knife is meant to be used, you'll never be able to appreciate the quality of the knife until you EDC it.

I thought the same thing, Grail Knife, then I started using it. I have a hard time not carrying it over the production Striders I have.

In time. I carry and use a Spyderco Southard and an SnG (which I never thought I could use 400+ knife), eventually as the "collector sentiments" fade, it will be found in pocket and put to use.
