CSC does not get a lot of action around here but their patterns really get me going. I just wanted to share that today I have received my white whale, a knife that has alluded me for the better part of 3 years. A CSC 4" stockman in black corn cob bone. I'm torn now as I want to get it to work in my rotation with the GEC Dixie Stockman and Buck BCCI 301, but this thing is just beautiful. The bolsters and backsprings are mirror polished along with the blade.

I think I need to find another so I have one to look at it and another to use. Maybe it won't take 3 years to find a back up.

I really wish we saw more of this style jigging.

Congratulations Justin, that's a beautiful knife

Very nice.

I like CSC knives, and have always found it odd that they get so little attention on BF.

Justin,
I can see why You like this folder.
Beautiful bolsters, great color and jigging, nice blade.
CONGRATULATIONS

Whew...what a long hunt! Your perseverance pays off big time. Its a beauty and home at last. Congrats:thumbup::thumbup:

Very nice. Can you tell me about the liners? Are they brass? Are any liners doubled up or are they single?

Great looking knife! I love a nice CSC!

I was just wondering about Canal Street and why they don't seem to get a ton of attention around here. Regardless thats a beauty congrats on ending a long search.

Those CSC's are the best and that one is marked #20. I've never seen the black jigged bone before.
I'm with you wish Canal Street got more time here.

WOW!! Justin, you have found a gem. What a great looking knife. Please put it in your rotation, unless you plan on selling it to me in a month or two ;)

Peter
