Do you know the feeling when a knife just speaks to you; and you are largely powerless to decline its ownership ?
Well this is that kind of knife.
Purhased her at the PKA in Denver in 2008 from Hans Weinmueller for $3500, (where it won best folding knife)
All I can say is WOW, it is an incredible knife. It is a meticulous repodouction of a 1820's royal carriage knife carried by coach drivers to royalty.
It has beautiful stag handles and is a large, warm, heavy in the hand and very interesting. It has a zero toleance feel to it... all blades are crisp, smooth and centered.
It has a many features including a scissors with a cigar cutter, a stitch and thread cutter, (for coach upholstery repairs) a big Carriage door lock Key which folds out from beautifully engraved hoof scrapper & nail puller there is also a large knife, a small knife, a saw, a cork screw,
a leather hole punch, an awl, a screw driver, tweezers, and a tooth pick AND a nut cracker !.
Mint / safe kept condition.
This knife is one of one
I am pricing it 500 below what I paid. $3K
