Grail knife: a very special 'thank you'

You know, I've never been "into" traditional knives before I started reading here. That's a beautiful knife, and an awesome gesture.

Good show, Jon.

Andre, thanks for the kind words and beautiful pictures. Your sincere reaction of gratitude is most appreciated. Im sure you are already touching lives and sharing the positive ripples of kindness that unite us.

Thanks to all of you for your friendship. Maybe post pictures here of knives you've been gifted, lets make this thread not just about me, and more about the outstanding generosity of our group. The effects of a small kindness can outlive us.

Nice gesture, Jon.
I see these knives selling for double their initial price, so seeing this gesture is positively amazing!

[quote: shrapne1]Makes one wonder what Charlie feels like; to know that he created something so beautiful and functional that has brought joy and delight to the people using it? [end quote]

Makes me feel wonderful. The goal has always been to create that feeling one gets when finding a real nice old timey knife, without having to pay $300, $400, or more for it.
