Grail knives

I don't know. You've thrown me off a little bit with your list. I think a big part of what we all call "grail knives" is their obtainability (or lack thereof). On price point alone, Shiros and Rocksteads are in another league than CRKs.
According to an article on Blade Reviews of high end knives they all three fall under that category along with some others.

I think what the OP is really asking is "what are the well-regarded, high-end production knives aside from CRK, Shiro and Rockstead."

Somebody said Hinderer. That's right. I'd also add some CKF knives, some of the low-volume WE and Reate knives (especially their collabs, like with Liong Mah, et al.), some of the Millit-made knives (like their Hawk collabs), maybe TAD collabs?

Who else?

it's all subjective

Even though they aren't my cup of tea, I have to believe Randall's could be included. Or are they considered more custom or limited in production?

An argument could also be made for some, none, or all of the following:
Olamic
William Henry
We
Reate.

I just picked up a CD Shirogorov! The only other knife on my wish list would be a Mayo.

Grail knife usually means a knife someone wants but can't currently obtain, but hopefully will some day. So it really means something different to everyone.

I want a north arms knives skaha in carbonfiber, they don't make one yet though
FYI, carbon fiber is now an option on the Skaha II.

Yeah but different factors can make different knives difficult to obtain for different people. Maybe someone’s financial situation will make a CRK virtually unobtainable.

If you read the first post, he doesn't actually end up asking about grail knives but "what PRODUCTION knives are on the same pedestal as Rockstead, shirogorov, Chris reeve?"

If I recall, my statement was that based on price alone CRK and Rockstead/Shiro are on two different pedestals. So to ask "which knives are on the same pedestal as ..." didn't quite work in my mind.

Even Shiro and Rockstead are sort of on different “pedistals” from one another. For a Shiro the main selling point is the handle and the action it contains.

Rocksteads main feature is their blades. Their handles are still good but the blade and its polish and grind are what makes a Rockstead.

I don;t have a lot of knives, but I have a handful. Bought cos of some connection.
Prob my grail knives because of older members of my family having them when I was young and me somehw in tribute or whatever wanting to replicate them.
Schrade Old Timer and Buck 110. have them.
