What's yours? If you don't have one, make one up. :D

Myself, I can't get over my Military. First one I got was the CF/S90V sprint run and I just feel in love. Now I've got another standard one and a BG-42 on the way, with a pre-order in for an Orange G-10.

The full sized persian(C83).I've seen them on ebay since, but I just can't bring myself to spend almost 3 times their original price. If they came out with a new version (white micarta?..one can only dream:D;)) I would buy three.

These!

For me it is C83 Persian. I was lucky to buy when prices were low and I am enjoying this knife every day of my life for almost three years. I bought quite a few spydies after Persian, but none of them replaced him. It is like made for my hand, excellent cutter and rare beauty.

I hope to see sprint run next year.

OK, let's chat.

We probably couldn't do anything before late '09 or early '10. We've got quite a few models "in-the-works" so there is already a queue.

I believe the maker has capacity so production can be done during the '09 year.

Maybe we can Ed to Chime in.

Sprints are always an iteresting project. The changes are always fun.

Damascus is possible, but usually quite expensive and out of the budget of many interested. I would guess blade or bolster would be possible, but I'd have to talk to the maker to see if they can do it.

I don't think a flat grind would be a problem.

I would want to make it lighter, but that's just me. Maybe holes in the liners, but I understand from another thread on another forum that some don't like the skeletonized liners?

Would you want to keep the bolsters or go to a full scale?

A larger hole is probably possible, but would require some new tooling. It would also change the "look" of the knife. What size hole would interest you Paul?

Woods are available, but limited. I don't think I'd go with a G-10. I think the "spirit" of the design would be happier with a non G-10 material. Maybe giraffe bone?

We have had some samples made with different materials. Maybe we can get some photos put up? Paul, if I sent you some protos to shoot, do you think you could post them? We're not set up to do really good photos in-house.

If we pull the Boye dent, we have to shrink the lock well.

C41TN Spyderco Native, Tan FRN, Operation Enduring Freedom blade etch.
(I already have the Iraqi Freedom model)

Original Chinook I in PE, been chasing one for a while now . . . lost my original one when my car got busted into :(

The search continues

I love my Millie, but my grail would be a para sized blade on the Millie sized frame. I have wide hands and it seems like I end up using blades that are larger than I like in order to have a comfortable grip.

FRN Stretch 2, I am very excited about this one. The Manix was my previous grail and still is in many ways but the FRN Stretch 2 is going to be the perfect knife.

If I could custom make a Military it'd be FFG H1 with those orange G-10 handles.

Stretch II looks very nice as well.

cf military, s90v, tip up, compression lock.

+1.

Currently carrying a tip up BG42 Millie. Trading into an S90V Military in hopes of finding someone do a tip up wire clip for it. That will be a nice Millie. :D

If I made a proclamation of what my so called Grail Spyderco was I'd probably edit the post a dozen times. I own so many and every one is special in its own right but alas, even with some of its limitations it would have to be the Military. I own a CF S90V, BG-42, CPM D2, standard Issue black G10 S30V and I have two Orange S30V's on the way. I just can't imagine the Military not being in the top 10 or 20 best production folders ever made. Way more than the sum of its parts IMHO.

My grail would have to be a ATR plain edge with Ti handles. The price for them on the bay is usually a higher than what I am willing to pay for one though.

Terzoula Starmate...Unfortunately the current going prices of one of these is keeping it just out of my reach at the moment.

PE SS Calypso Jr...This one has been almost impossible to find.

While not exactly a "grail" I plan on getting the entire selection of Sages so I'm in the market for the CF version now and I have my name down for the RIL version.
