If you'e fortunate enough to be able to acuire one of these pieces then I applaud you! Handled one at NYCKS once and I understood the price tag
 
Already have my grail, a sterile Peter Bauchop Witch with a blued blade, made before he switched to Kalgard. Cost me $75, a once in a lifetime deal.

I have a few of custom ranger would be there Pena swayback, something from jb stout, Tighe fighter, that's my short list
 
Lochsa..and a few fixed blades by custom makers. Kressler is one. In regards to the Lochsa it's not that I can't afford it. I can't find one to buy

I'm such a snob at this point that I gotta have one-offs that I had a hand in designing. Its weird, I have no interest high end productions or midtechs, or even pre existing "customs"

I do like 60-100.00 folders for work use still, though.

Right now I'm working with a couple folks designing something. I suppose that would be my next 'grail'

There sure is a quest for it.

Keeps the collection to a reasonable size as well.
 
I have a few grails, owned one for a bit... someone offered me "stupid" money, sold it. I'm an asshole. :(
