Grand Dad's Sharp Finger Limited Edition

Just acquired this one, but the model number is different. Stamped an 0861 rather than 152OT. Has black handle and fitted case. Anybody heard of this? Looks to be from 1975.

Hiya Dawgfan, welcome to the forum. There were four knives in that series of 1974-75, celebrating Schrade's 70th anniversary. Barlow, Small Stock, Large Stock, and your Sharpfinger. These knives were serialized, so I am assuming the number on yours is the serial number. SOMETIMES when I aquire a nice boxed Schrade like this, I lift out the inner flocked resting place for the knife and there is the registration papers beneath it.

Anyone else?

Thanks for the prompt reply. Now the numbering that confused me is clear. Can't wait to get home and see if there's a surprise under the resting place.
