Grandpa's Buck 112 Restoration and Preservation ** EXTREMELY PIC HEAVY**

My Grandpa was a logger here in the PNW, he took care of his tools, but he used them hard.

Great post, WS. Your Grandpa's knife should go into a Buck Museum. Curious, how is the lock up after this much use?

Shows me the 112 is more then all the knife that I need! Thanks for sharing and God bless grand pa:thumbup:!

Thanks guys.

Lock up is surprisingly solid with only a small amount of side to side play, and zero up and down.

I love to see posts like these. Really enjoyed your photos and appreciate your efforts to retain the spirit of the knife. I'm sure your Grandpa will be pleased. Looking forward to reading about his reaction and possible stories.

GREAT post/s, Wood Splitter! Nothing new to add ....... just that, like all the other folks who have posted here, I'd love to hear the stories that wonderful old Buck knife could tell.
