Grandpas Swiss Army Knife

Was this necessary?
No, but neither was the random out of nowhere declaration in the middle of an episode that they went to one of these " protests " .
The reboot wasn't that great anyways , so It was just the push I needed to stop watching.

I haven’t watched any of the reboot episodes so I can’t really comment. I do know from watching a couple other series on TV that producers tend to gravitate to whatever the flavor of the month is regarding perceived politics. When support for political topics start to subside, they shift direction.

Now regarding the original topic. I would caution a guess a lot of people across the pond would carry what was readily available. Maybe someone can chime in here, but I’m curious how readily available SAK’s were across Europe from the mid 1940’s and on. I suppose in Switzerland and surrounding countries they were known. But at what point did they really expand to be a more globally recognized and available knife. I think this would determine what folks would have carried.
