• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

I'm not sure if this is the appropriate section...

(( No, it is not. ))

I'm not a moderator, but I think you need to post this in one of the sale forums. And you may need a higher level membership than you and I have.

Best of luck with the sale. I have a number of the ancient axes and they're pretty cool.

Yea looks like it but even with a Gold membership in the exchange seems like it would be a waste as their is no axe/hawk section to sell in. ebay it is I guess.

Thanks DWK, which ancient axes do you own?

I have the model you described, which works as well as their modern axes. I also have the two-lugged axe, the four-lugged, the Viking battle axe, the large bearded axe, the large gutter adze, and perhaps one other I can't recall.

I'm looking for a redwood log to hollow out for a planter box, using the curved adze.

I originally planned to mount the Viking axe over my fireplace, crossed with a nice damascus Viking sword I have (my family name is Danish). However, a couple platonic lady friends said that would be a bad choice for a single guy. Instead, I went with a dramatic art photo of a rainbow over some of the Utah landscape. The battle axe sits in a closet. If I'm married some day and have a house with a den, perhaps I can display it there.

They are all very nicely made.
